East Islip Dental Cares

Our doctors and team members love being a part of the greater Long Island community, and we’re always looking for new ways to inspire smiles outside of the practice too! That’s why you can regularly find us at local events and fundraisers, giving out free oral health products and raising money for wonderful causes. Some of East Islip Dental Care's staff spent the weekend at Adventureland. No, we weren't riding the rides, we were handing out thousands of free toothbrushes, toothpaste, and Halloween stickers. Here is a picture of Saturday's Smiling Six!

The day was overcast, but the smiles were bright at the Sayville Chamber's Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, September 12th. Here is a picture of our team in front of the East Islip Dental Care booth. Pictured are Ro, Danielle, Suzanne, and Dr. Rosenfeld. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were complimentary for all attendees and a raffle was held for a power brush and whitening system from Crest OralB ®. EIDC is always happy to support our local businesses, especially when healthy living is the focus.

East Islip Dental Care's annual walk in support of the EJ Autism Foundation Jigsaw Race took place on April 26th. The weather was sunny and warm so our team, which grows stronger every year, was all smiles as they posed for this great picture at the East Islip Marina.

Sarah was the lucky winner of the East Islip Big Egg Hunt. She received a gift bag full of prizes and each participant who came to our office to hunt for the egg received a free toothbrush. But we won't be examining this big tooth any further as it will be auctioned off at the district's art and music celebration to raise funds for the school.

Kerri, Therese and Debbie, our top hygienists at East Islip Dental Care, will visit several schools in the area during National Children's Dental Health Month. These three pictures show our hygienist, Kerri, and our treatment coordinator, Chad, visiting the Islip Public Library this January. The students were delighted to learn all about brushing, flossing and maintaining their dental health. They especially loved watching our stuffed dog, Puppy Pete, learn how to brush correctly, including a demonstration of his fabulous spitting skills! At the conclusion of the lesson, the students were given a "goody" bag filled with supplies for maintaining their beautiful smiles. A fun and informative time was had by all. Our hygienists can't wait to visit schools in the area during National Children's Dental Health Month this February!
