Fluent in French, Dr. Blaise Boerger was educated in Canada, and has served as chief resident at Stony Brook University Hospital and currently serves as an assistant professor. Dr. Blaise Boerger loves getting to know her patients one on one, and has a passion for education. She serves as an assistant professor at Stony Brook School of Medicine.
Our hygienists, Debra, Kerri and Therese, have 50 years of combined experience, and love to help our patients achieve clean, healthy smile in and out of the office. East Islip Dental Care recently received a big thank you from the Cooperative Work Experience Program at the Gary D. Bixhorn Technical Center in Bellport. According to its website, the center addresses “the academic and career needs of a diversified community of students.” One of the center’s students completed an internship in our office this year. He spent 30 hours shadowing our dental assistants. Thanks to Mr. Samuel McAleese, the principal, for sending East Islip Dental Care a certificate of participation.

We had a great day at Eggsapalooza on April 1st! The radio-sponsored event took place at Duck’s Stadium. It was a fascinating sight – thousands of children running to gather Easter Eggs! We had so much fun getting to know the kids and their parents, and handing out goodies like toothbrushes, toothpaste, pencils, and balloons. Can’t wait until next year!
