Summertime And the Livin’ Is Easy With A Dental Visit

Summertime is a wonderful time for kids and parents. The kids get a few months to spend time at the pool and hang out with their friends while getting into who-knows-what. It’s a great time for parents, too, as they can sit back and not have to worry about school projects, or PTA meetings or anything else that’s school related. Eggsapalooza!

We had a great day at Eggsapalooza on April 1st! The radio-sponsored event took place at Duck’s Stadium. It was a fascinating sight – thousands of children running to gather Easter Eggs! We had so much fun getting to know the kids and their parents, and handing out goodies like toothbrushes, toothpaste, pencils, and balloons. Can’t wait until next year!

EIDC Visits Local Schools During National Children’s Dental Health Month

Dr. Rosenfeld and Debbie, one of our top hygienists at East Islip Dental Care, visited several schools in the area during National Children’s Dental Health Month. The students were delighted to learn all about brushing, flossing and maintaining their dental health. They especially loved watching our stuffed dog, Puppy Pete, learn how to brush correctly, including a demonstration of his fabulous spitting skills! At the conclusion of the lesson, the students were given a “goody” bag filled with supplies for maintaining their beautiful smiles. A fun and informative time was had by all.
