East Islip Dental Care recently received a big thank you from the Cooperative Work Experience Program at the Gary D. Bixhorn Technical Center in Bellport. According to its website, the center addresses “the academic and career needs of a diversified community of students.” One of the center’s students completed an internship in our office this year. He spent 30 hours shadowing our dental assistants. Thanks to Mr. Samuel McAleese, the principal, for sending East Islip Dental Care a certificate of participation.

Dr. Gary Rosenfeld received a certificate from the New York State Dental Association recently. The certificate was granted in appreciation for East Islip Dental Care’s support of the 2014 New York State Mission of Mercy. The objective of the Mission of Mercy is to provide exceptional dental care to those without access. Dr. Rosenfeld is passionate about improving the dental health of all New Yorkers. We are proud of our Dental Health Champ!
